10 Year Anniversary Gala

Join Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Psi Psi Omega Chapter, as we celebrate 10 years of service. The Chapter's milestone gala will celebrate the strives in community connections made over the years as well as recognize  our community partners and leaders. Supporters are encouraged to join us at the Anniversary Gala, purchase a souvenir journal ad, and/or make a monetary donation. Grab your semi-formal attire for a night of dinner, live entertainment, dancing, and a special keynote address from the 17th Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, Dr. Linda H. Gilliam. 

 

Times and Activities (Saturday, June 8, 2024):

• 6:00 pm  - 7:00 pm - Cocktail Reception South Lobby

• 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm - 10-Year Anniversary Gala

• 7:30 pm  - 9:00 pm - Plated Dinner Served

 

Ticket Sales:

• Tickets are $120 each.

• Tables of (10) ten are $1,200 each.

• Ticket and table sales end on May 30, 2024, while available.

• To ensure you and your guests are seated together, you must purchase your tickets together in one transaction.

• All ticket sales are final and no refunds can be issued. However, guest names can be swapped.

 

Gala Attire: Semi-formal attire is encouraged (suits and charming cocktail dress or midi-length dresses).

 

Media Policy: All event photographs, videos, and television broadcast taken by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated®, Psi Psi Omega Chapter or their designee will become the property of the Chapter and may be used on our web page, social media accounts, or in a television broadcast now or in the future for reporting and future promotions.

 

* Your donation to AKA is to a not-for-profit entity, such donations are not tax deductible for federal or state income tax purposes. 

* Donations used for scholarships, community service projects, and other authorized expenditures.
